WordPress isn’t “Worry Free”!
Find out what you NEED to know before it’s too late.
Your livelihood depends upon the success of your business.
The success of your business is largely dependent upon your website. This is where people discover what you can do for them, join your mailing list and purchase your products and services.
Did you know that there things within every single WordPress site (even fresh installations) that if not done correctly can have a major impact on your bottom line?
What would happen if your website crashed because you weren’t aware of these settings? How much revenue would you miss due to lost sales? How much would you have to spend to get your site back up?
Did you know that the average down time when a site crashes is approximately 10 days?
Can you afford to NOT have your website available for that long? How much information and how many blog posts would be lost when your site finally gets back up? How much time will you have to spend recreating that lost data? How many potential clients did you lose out on because they found empty space where your site and perhaps your portfolio had been?
You may think it’s not going to happen you BUT it does happen to millions of website every year.
In a recent survey by Poneman Research on behalf of Juniper Networks they discovered that 90% of business sites were negatively impacted by these incorrect settings in the last 12 months.
I know what I am talking about. I am part of that 90%. My site went down along with millions (yes millions) of others almost a year ago. And just like you I thought it could never happen to me. My business was too small. My site was not a high traffic site. I thought my site would be under the radar of potential trouble. I thought nothing could happen to my business site. Discovering how wrong I had been was a gut wrenching , eye opening experience. I literally wanted to throw up.
My site was down for over a week AND my sales percentages for that month were down by double digits. Thankfully I had the skills to find the problem and fix it myself or I would have had to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars in repair costs.
Don’t make the mistake of assuming your VA or whomever installed or is maintaining your WordPress site is aware of and has adjusted these important settings. I have years of experience building websites and I have installed WordPress hundreds of times but until my own site went down I wasn’t aware of these settings. I had no idea that I was leaving myself wide open to disaster. If anyone should have known better it was me but it took a major disaster to open my eyes.
Since then I have made it my mission to make sure that other small business owners are not blindsided like I was. There are steps you can take within your WordPress site to protect it and to make sure you can get it back up quickly if the worst does happen.
Since my site went down I have been educating myself and testing and evaluating hundreds of options and tools to find the best ways to keep your website up and the money flowing in. Any website down time is money lost both in lost sales and repair costs. Let this free call be your ounce of prevention. It really can save you thousands of dollars.
Please don’t become part of the 90% this year. Discover how changing and adjusting a few settings ensures your site stays up!
